You have the legal right to ask any company contacting you for marketing purposes to stop and remove your details from their marketing list.

Unwanted marketingYou have the legal right to ask any company contacting you for marketing purposes to stop and remove your details from their marketing list.

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to stop your personal information being used for unwanted marketing.

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations give you the right to stop electronic direct marketing messages including phone calls, faxes, emails and texts.

If they continue after you have contacted them, call our helpline on 0303 123 1113. If someone has broken the rules, we may be able to investigate on your behalf.
