The ICO carries out advisory visits to give small to medium sized organisations practical advice on how to comply with the Data Protection Act. We will normally complete the visit in one day and we aim to identify areas of good practice as well areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations and suggestions to put things right.
At the end of the visit, we produce a short report to summarise what we saw and discussed during the visit. We publish a brief summary of these reports to share the good practice we find and to help others to improve.
