Public information films

As part of our campaign to raise awareness amongst the public about the importance of protecting their personal information, we have produced a series of public information films. These will highlight the problems people can face if they are victims of identity crime or if inaccurate information is held about them.

The films are supported by our personal information toolkit, which is a step by step guide to help individuals understand how to protect and manage their personal information. The toolkit includes advice and tips for the general public on:

  • how to access the information that organisations hold about them;
  • how to correct inaccurate information; and
  • how to protect themselves against identity theft.

Our public information films have been shown on over 100 terrestrial and digital television channels.
