I am currently undertaking research for the policy/parliamentary departments of the Disability Rights Commission on the impact on disabled people of data-sharing and increasing recording of data on people both within the public and private sector.
Please can you supply any examples of where a disabled person has been adversely affected by data keeping/data sharing.
As the Identity Cards Bill is about to enter the Lords this seems a particularly relevant issue for disabled people, given that disable people may often have disability sensitive information held on them, issues around poor data-sharing practice could have particular and disproportionate impact on this group.
